Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite 
Commonly known as TESS, the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite was launched in April 2018 on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. Picking up the exoplanet-hunting torch from the Kepler Space Telescope to survey an area 400 times larger than before. Equipped with 4 identical wide-angle camera's TESS is expected to find more than 20000 exoplanets including 500 to 1000 Earth-sized and Super Earth-sized planets during its mission.
